Limited Editionsby artist Bruce Repei "Saint Mark's" is my first limited edition print. The image size is 17 1/2" x 21 1/2" which is a 10% reduction in size from my original acrylic painting. The print is a "Giclee" type print which is a computer driven digital ink jet process with water based inks in acid free, high quality water colour type paper. The edition is 350 prints and the results are impressive! 
Saint Mark's Church is across the street from my grade school. I would pass by it to and from school each day when I was a kid. One night after school in December, when it gets dark early, I walked in the churchyard and stopped for a moment to take in the scene. It had snowed that afternoon, then turned clear and cold later. The moon and surrounding lights shone down to create this scene which remained with me ever since and compelled me to paint "Saint Mark's" these many years later. I was never inside but I had a connection with Saint Mark's because the last pastor there used to walk over to our school once a week for religious class, which was permitted then. My class consisted of various Protestants, jehovah witnesses, and several Jews- all being taught by an Anglican minister. Everyone had their own slant on the scripture lesson. Sadly, Saint Mark's was sold by the church to a developer and it has since ended up in the hands of the city awaiting its future use. It is a familiar landmark in my town and I think many people would know of similar places where they live.
